Eczema and dermatitis: overview and more

Allergies are in fact a bug of the immune system that identifies something harmless, such as dust or pollen, as a threat. This causes your body to try to expel the misidentified substance, for example through a sneeze or a runny nose. Skin allergies can cause rashes, hives, and other symptoms. Eczema is not an allergic reaction, but it often occurs in people with allergies.
