Psoriatic arthritis: overview and more

Inflammatory arthritis is a general term for types of arthritis, which generally include inflammation, autoimmunity, and multiple joints. Pain, stiffness, and other symptoms are the result of chronic inflammation caused by the immune system, mistakenly attacking healthy body tissues as infectious agents. Some types of inflammatory arthritis are psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, reactive arthritis, and gout.
