Urinary Tract Infection (UTI): Overview and More

The urinary system, also known as the urinary tract, is the body's system that produces and drains urine. It includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. The kidneys make urine by filtering waste and excess water from the blood, and each kidney has a tube called the ureter through which urine is carried to the bladder. Urination occurs when urine flows out of the bladder into the urethra and out of the body.
